Hi All
I am trying to restore my toshiba laptop to its original factory settings. I am running windows 8.1, and all my apps have stopped running. I have tried powering on and holding "0" but nothing happens. Anyone out there got any ideas.
Thanks in advance.

I have no idea why you are holding 0, is that what your manual tells you to do?
You usually have to tap the F8 key while the pc is booting.

You can restore Windows 8.1 to it's original settings easily:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-GB/windows-8/restore-refresh-reset-pc
Now I see why you are holding the 0.

Are you pressing it before you turn it on?
Apologies. I have just noticed that the last link I posted has another link for W8 and W8.1 machines. The method of holding down the 0 will not work for your laptop.
