Just Had To Share This...

Apologies - it's not a question but...had a big shock this morning. Family, who have invited us to a meal later have told me that they have been keeping something from me. They said it is a surprise they have all been saving ...... that two extra people will be at the meal, my brother and his daughter who flew in from Oz last night!! They decided to come over and make it a surprise for me (they have), he didn't think he would ever get back here again due to health problems! Haven't seen him for some years and my niece, must be 34 years (mid forties now!). Wow, what a wonderful surprise for us both, can't wait to see them later, I think I'm just getting over the shock now lol.

Something similarish happened to me when I invited my ex in-laws to stay with us in Canada to be with their grandson....they said they had a surprise for me.....they did....

They brought my mother with them.... :-(

Thank you all so much for sharing in my news today, I've just got back from a wonderful reunion with my lovely brother and niece, tearful, joyous and shared many memories and hardly stopped laughing. My brother is a born comedian and through all his problems still keeps us smiling. They are here for two weeks so more time to catch up later. Again, thank you for your good wishes.
