I’m thinking of getting rid of Sky and having Freeview instead.
I know that you can get a recordable Freeview box, but can someone please tell me if you can record a program whilst watching another one? Can you record more than one program at a time, and can you pause and rewind live TV?

Thanks.

We've got a freesat box which allows us to do that. Not sure you can do that on a freeview box though.
You can get The Humax HDR-2000T which does as you ask.
Most have twin tuners so you can either record one and watch another or record two, but then you can't watch a third. A number of channels now have a +1 option. so that extends the scope. You can certainly pause live TV but I do't know about resind as I have never tried it.
Our TalkTalk 'YouView' box does all those things.
We have a Humax box that lets us record 2 channels and watch a third at the same time.

Thank you, Jomlett.
The Humax looks like the one for me.
We like Freeview - I watch stuff on catchup all the time with no need to record.
You're very welcome.
