I have a HP EliteOne 800 pc which is described in the bumph as being easily wall mountable using a standard VESA mount.

I have the mount, I have taken the computer off its base but for the life of me I can't see how to attach pc to wall mount.

I have phoned HP but they were useless.

Any ideas, folks?

After removing the stand, you should have 4 bolt holes to attach the Vesa mount

Yes, I have the four bolt holes. I would be very wary of attaching the wall mount directly to those holes. I'd never be able to get it off.

It seems the bracket is part of the swivel and pivot base but it is in a plastic casing and I can't get it out.

I may be wrong
What type of Vesa do you have?
The Vesa should split into two parts. The wall bracket and the screen mount. Fix the wall bracket to the wall, attach the screen mount to the screen, hang the screen mount on the wall bracket.

I think the screen mount is part of the stand of the pc. It looks right and it is used to afix the pc to the stand. I can remove it from the stand but it is still in a plastic casing and I can't get it out.
