Control / shift / delete actually.
The first answer is correct., ctrl/shift/del brings up the Google Chrome equivalent of internet options for me.
Are we sure he doesn't mean the task bar
Sorry. Control / Alt / Delete.

Thanks all but I do know about the 'shortcuts'! When I say I've lost the program I actually mean just that.
If I enter (C:\Windows\System32\taskmgr.exe)no brackets of course,I'm informed that 'Windows cannot find task manager,etc....'
I don't really want to go into the registry and am thinking I should be able to download another copy from Microft or would I be able to get a copy off my Master Installation disc; I don't know. It seems the program has been erased off my system!
Any help,please?
There are plenty of alternative task managers you can download, many better than the W7 one.

I don't like recommending a system restore generally but that is one solution.

My 'Task Manager' has come back!!! I think something must have happened after I 'dumped' Kaspersky, which was causing all sorts of peculiarities. I shall keep watch of this prog!
Cheers all.
Hurrah!
