The text under all of my desktop icons is printed in black which I am finding difficult to read, is it possible to change this to white ? My P/C operating system is W7. TIA.

go to control panel and in the "search control panel" bar at the top type in "colour" then click on the "change windows colours and metrics" that pops up in the list, desktop will automatically come up and the default colour of the background is black therefore making the font of the icons white, but if you turn the colour to white the font will now be black.

Thank you zoe76, sorry to appear thick but too much info appears please explain further how I can chnge colour of print underneath each icon.

With a bit of jiggery pokery I now have my desktop exactly how I want it.
