i made a screen shot on my macbook pro but cannot see where it went. When i looked up how to do it initially it said it would go to Pictures .... Ive looked everywhere and cannot see it plus I can't see Pictures anywhere anyway. I only see Photos and its not there. Anyone know what to do please?

My mac book air has a pictures file, its in finder in the files list on the left.

God thats worrying what i just found in there, pictures that i thought were no more! scary, not that i have anything to hide, ha! No, its not in there??

i only have google earth on desktop. Maybe when i pressed the keys it didn't take the screenshot?
I press cmd shift and 3 and there's the screenshot on my desktop.

yep thats what i did or thought i did. Will have to practice to see if it comes up this time.

That is what is so great about Macs. They are just so intuitive. Not like Windows where you have to press a button called Print Screen.

no, tried it again and cannot find it. I just did a right click on the page id taken a shot of and think it gives option where to save it.
have you not got an app called Grab? grabs the whole screen or any part of it and saves it where you want it.
Try cmd f (find) then search by 'last modified is within last 1 day'.
