Unplug it
Question Author
Will it lose anything mojo?
I'm sure that there's a complicated technical answer but here's what I've always done in our situation:
UNPLUG IT!
Assuming that you've already closed any programs you were using (e.g. Word) you can't lose any data you've already saved with them.

I've been fixing a few problems on two computers over the past couple of weeks, requiring me to unplug both of them several times. They still work!
Hold the power off button down for about 20 seconds
My plug is not easy to reach so I keep the on/off button on the tower pressed in until it shuts off - takes about 30 seconds

Is it off yet Ann
"I did a Systemcare clean as I often do"

Well don't :)
General purpose registry cleaners rarely do any good, and often do damage.
