my friend is going abroad monday and is taking an old phone with him with PAYG sim inserted.
does anyone know how to turn the wap off altogether so there is no access top the web unless wap is re-connected.

i had this phone many years ago and think you dis-connect net via the web page options when online.

can't find anything online that tells me how to do it, any help would be grateful as i could pass it on to him before he flies out.

i've looked here chris but only tells how to log onto the web.

i'm pretty sure its one of those phones where you have to access the web unlike new smart phones that are constantly connected unless wap switched off.
