Computer Monitor

Hi, my HP monitor keeps going in to sleep mode, does anyone know how I can correct it? At the moment I cannot access the computer, so I would have to change settings by linking up my laptop to the computer hard drive, but I do not know how to do it!

Any advise or help would be gratefully received!

It's not the monitor! It goes to sleep when it doesn't have a signal from the computer. Sort the computer and you sort the monitor.

Check out your power setting option from the control panel and set it to "never", in options like turn off monitor, turn of hard disk and system standby.
