Annoying you have won and iPhone advert

Using my new iPad I am getting one of those flashing ad,s that you can't get rid off unless you click it no matter whether you click yes no or the red cross...it is saying you have won an iPhone which is obviously nonsense....it's in this website....I thought you didn't get any if this rubbish with apple. My mate has an iPad too and she has never experienced this kind of intrusion. Any ideas folks.
