phone advice needed

which phones do the messages that show what each person has put instead of having to go into inbox and sent box to remember whats been said... also is there a phone does this that can have apps on?

would a samsung galaxy do both ? thanks

my samsung galaxy y does that - don't know about any others, and i can have apps on it.... go to carphone warehouse or somewhere and tell them what it is exactly you're looking for, i'm sure they'll be able to help xx

My HTC Sensation shows them that way. I would assume the Samsung ones do as well. They both use the Android operating system, so you can download apps such as Handcent to do this if the built in one doesn't. Texts show as a 'conversation' for each person. I think Iphones do it this way as well.

my htc wildfire shows the msg on the main screen before i go into the in-box too

On the newer smartphones all your texts are sorted into threads - (all texts from this number is stored in one place) - makes it a "real" talk. IMO
