still cant open sonic stage, can someone say why

I asked this question a few weeks ago. All i can say is i get a pop up window from windows telling me it doesn´t work, and that they´ll contact me when it they´ve found a solution. well i´m still waiting, just had another go , no joy.

Sounds like DEP problem. Data Execution Prevention has a habit of crashing programs rather than closing them gracefully with a sensible explanation.

You haven't told us what Operating System you are using, so I can't give specific advice.

Try turning off DEP, like this:
1. Open the Control Panel. (Classic View)
2. Click on the System icon.
3. Click on Advanced system settings.(in upper left green area)
4. Click on the Continue button in the UAC prompt.
5. Click on the Settings button under Performance section.
6. Click on the Data Execution Prevention tab.
7. Turn DEP On for Essential Windows Programs and Services Only
8. Click on OK to apply. (See screenshot below step 8B)
9. Restart the computer to apply changes.
