Depends, you shooting JPEG only or JPEG and RAW??

32Gb should give around 1130 RAW images at 400 ISO, it all depends on the subject, if there are lots of different colours to reproduce the file size will be bigger, also the higher the ISO setting the bigger the file, if you shoot RAW & JPEG this number will be less, if you shoot just JPEGs then I would estimate between 4200 & over 8000 (counter on mine stops at 999 with 4GB card) depending on whether the large or small JPEG option is selected. I get approx 141 RAW images on a 4GB card with my 5D MkII

Thanks to everybody who has replied, all very useful.Will probably stck to JPEG at first but who knows one day I might be brave enought to shoot in Raw.
