Reached the end of a bumpy relationship I think. Spent 30 mins reporting a fault that took t'interweb out for a day - second time in two weeks. Mentioned that I had kindly done this task for them - to be told we can only compensate you if you have a virgin phone.
There comes a time, mutter mutter mutter.
You may need to ring a couple of time to find someone who knows what they're talking about.
In a previous property I've had a to call a few times to explain to Virgin that, yes, they can supply us with a line - as the previous occupant had been using Virgin!
We have Virgin Media's 20MB Broadband service (soon to be upgraded to 40MB at no extra cost) without having to take the landline or any tv package for £20 a month. Had it almost a year during which time it has been faultless. No complaints here.
I'm a big fan of Virgin Media - been on cable since the start of Telewest and I've had very few problems.
I haven't had a line line for many years.
Very few occasions of broken internet, and the broadband speed is consistently what I'm paying for.
I like being able to watch my Virgin tv on my mobile and laptops, too.
I got so fed up with no broadband available so many times with virgin. Was forever on phone listening to recorded messages detailing problem post code areas. They didn't fix it, just offered two quid a day back. Left them for bt. Have added benefit of their wifi hotspots for my iPod.
