Adobe Audition

I use adobe audition to record music. The other day i recorded something I payed on my synthesiser and used the Phlanger effect on adobe audition on this synthesiser track.
Since then, the phlanger is on everything I record. Anyone have any ideas on how to turn the phlanger off?
