anyone know how you find out your ipad number??

Errrm, what number?

The serial number is on the back, the model number can easily be figured out by looking at them as the models look different.

vodafone say there is a phone number?????

Oh right,

Look under Settings > Genral > About > Cellular Data Number

Not that I can see any reason to need the number on an ipad.

thanks, it was vodafone that asked for the number as we had a problem logging on to account via PC, and they wanted us to go to a vodafone shop for them to take out the sim to activate???? I got the vodafone app now and it gives the number for my ipad so all ok
