I have a AEG Santo fridge freezer and the control panel on the top has a

white square in the temp instead of a number. It says in the manual it is a fridge fault. Not much help so would anyone know what is wrong and if we can repair it please.? Oh dear it not my week what with my tv as well.! Many thanks

Try appliance help forums, I think some give free advice- eg.=
'UKwhite goods.co.uk' with any luck somebody may already asked the same question. Also try manufacturers web site, they may be able to help.
Some faults can be repaired at reasonable cost by the owner some not. How old is it ?
