Cameras and memory cards

At our christening on Sunday we took a lot of shots but then found the images on before have disappeared - if I take the camera to Tandy or some such shots can we get them back - as they are of the baby through the months I dont care about cost

Try scanning the drive with a file recovery program, as long as the pictures haven't been overwritten they should be recoverable.

I am far too scared to do it myself though - i will take it to the shop now I know its possible

No Dave I dare not I have told them not to touch the camera until I take it to the Tandy or Dixons
