Olympus camera 835

The memory card in my Olympus has developed a problem. The camera tells me to clean the contact area with a dry cloth but this makes no difference. Havi I lost all the photographs? Can they be recovered. The camera is an Olympus-835. The Card was full. I had been trying to down load the photographs on to my Acer 6930 computer.

The fault may be in the camera rather than the memory card have you got a spare card to try and see if the same thing happens. If it does then it is the camera rather than the card. If you do resolve the problem then please remeber to keep a cop of the photos on your PC so this can't happen again .

does anybody have one of these cameras,been looking through manual on comp but not sure how the infrared light works on it for night time shots,,thanks
