Pc will not boot...no messages...fans constantly active

Hi aw.

I have a pc that was working good until the other day. Powered it up...normally fans have high activity briefly and then less so during boot. Now they continue with high activity constantly, Nothing on screen (no signal to monitor) and no startup messages were displayed. Disc activity light slowly illuminates on and off. Turned off and opened up case. Reseated ram...tested each stick. All fans active. I can browse the hard drive using sata to usb cable and another computer. Tried everything without success. Any advice would be welcome. The pc is about 6 years old. Thanks!

Sound like a Graphic card issue. Check that's seated correctly.

Thanks brainz will try that tomorrow and let you know the outcome.
You could have a power supply problem in as much that it is not supplying enough voltage even though the fans etc. run it seems it cant power up the system. If you can get hold of another power supply and try it to eliminate this as a cause .
