Microdoft word again

I am trying to make a for sale sign to put in my car window but does anyone know how to make really big text at all please? The largest I can seem to get is 72.

will you be able print out any larger than that ??
just click in the font size box rather than the down arrow and type in a number

bibble wor thanks so simple.
Have you tried coloured crayons and paper ? Sometimes the low tech option is preferable.
you're welcome

old geezer really?
Not crayons - a big thick felt pen.

And a piece of wallpaper.

And your best bubble writing.
Yes I agree with Mosaic - you'll use an awful lot of printer ink if you print such large writing! Rather write it with a thick black felt pen.
bibblebub - can you explain to an old codger how to exceed 72pt. Thank you
^^ As BB said, "just click in the font size box rather than the down arrow and type in a number".
.... up to 1638

(although if you want to go above 1638, which is about 55cm letters words not the right thing to be using)
Thanks mark. However, when I type a number in the font size box, as soon as I move my cursor back to the document, the font size changes back to its original.

ie I have typed For Sale into a document. Then changed the 9pt to 48pt. Returned the cursor to the document and the size changes back to 9pt. I can only change the font size by using the downward arrow.
Press enter after typing the number.
As Chuck says, hit Enter... :-)
Thanks a lot Chuck and mark . . . . magic!
Cut out some stencils on thin based folders.
