sorry, bit specialist this one!

I've got a Garmin GPS - Dakota 10 and I can import and export GPX files without troubles.

However I'm having a problem with one GPX file. Yes, its fairly large at 138 miles. It only shows 61 miles of the track on my GPS unit.

I've loaded the gpx file into both Garmin Connect and MapmyRide websites and it displays all 138 miles of the track.

I've also loaded the gpx file from the GPS unit (just to see if the unit was truncating the track) and yes, both websites display the whole 138 miles.

The GPX file was something I downloaded from MapmyRide and I modified the route a bit. Not sure if its down to limitations with the GPS unit? wouldnt have thought so?

...on further googling may have found the answer. Garmin can only handle so many points on a track. Guess I've exceeded that :-/ Will have to split the file into smaller ones :-/ again!
