I have a new TV (with integrated HDD freeview) that has only one scart socket, a Virgin Media set top box (2 scart sockets), and a DVD hard drive recorder (2 scart sockets). How do I link them all up please?!!

>>>with integrated HDD freeview

Do you mean "integrated Freeview HD" (as in High Definition). A "HDD" is usually a Hard Disk Drive and I dont think you mean that.

Is your Virgin Media set top box a HD box? If so then plug the HDMI cable into one of the TV HDMI Sockets.
Does your DVD Recorder have an HDMI Socket? If so then you would plug this into a HDMI Socket on your TV.
You can then use a Scart Socket from your Virgin Media box into your DVD recorder if you want to record from that.
