laptop mouse pad

I have just bought a new laptop and today when I pressed the left hand side of the mouse pad I felt a click and a movement under my finger as though something had moved out of place..

I it still working ok although it wobbles a bit at times. Is it worth taking it back to Curry's for them to have a look at.

Mouse pad on laptop

Can anyone please tell me why the mouse pad on my laptop wont respond on my profile but works fine on the other 3 profiles on it. I am able to use it to move the arrow but not to 'click'. I am useless...
