My daughter got a contract at Tesco yesterday for one.
It was on T Mobile and it was £20.42 a month for 24 months with 300 minutes and 300 texts plus unlimited broadband (in fact while it is unlimited broadband for browsing you are limited to 500Mb of data download per month). While the Tesco phone booklet said the handset was £50 in the shop there was a hand written sign saying the handset was free, which it was for her. Note the offer was due to finish today (31st december) so not sure if it will still be available tomorrow. |

Sorry just noticed you said 12 month and my daughter got 24 months.
I think many of these companies now try to lock you in for 24 months to stop you going elsewhere at the end of 12 months. Not sure you will get it free anywhere on a 12 month contract, maybe not even on a 24 month now the Tesco offer is finishing. |

I have no idea whether this is accurate or of any use at all.

VHG "(in fact while it is unlimited broadband for browsing you are limited to 500Mb of data download per month)."
Of topic i know and im sorry but curious on this.. How do T Mobile determine web browsing compaired with downloading ? I only ask this as while searching for internet access i noted some suppliers give download limits ( which usualy include browing ) as to view a web page , the page has to be downloaded to the mobile / pc ... Would you know the answer to this VHG ? |
