Yes .. probably only partially ..

Best with Microsoft Security Essentials really at the present time ..
Which one do you actually want? (MS or AVG?)
AVG removal tool here .. AFTER you tried Add/Remove from Control Panel.
http://www.avg.com/ww-en/utilities

MSE: Use the FIXIT here ...

Buy norton and have pesce of mind.
I agree .. I use the latest too ... but MSE is great for free.

Albags I was happy with my AVG and malwarebyts. ..... and it was working OK for me until the MSE popped up!
I'm not gonna buy anything if I can get it for free owdhemer!
Then just try the MSE Fixit removal tool .. It should get rid of that registry entry causing the problem. : )

Where do I get the MSE Fixit removal tool ?
I tried all the free stuff butstill got attacked ok it cost 50 quid but i rest easy
M link above Dolt ... from Microsoft
Owd .. yes .. NAV is great at stopping stuff instantly when it tries to run.
I tested it on a few infected executables in the past.
Unfortunately some of the others let it install first.

Is it OK to leave things as they are? I don't know like to mess around and remove stuff, if I am running 2 security things, and my computer has been OK, is there any need to remove any of them?
They could conflict with each other.
Usual recommendation is to only have one running at a time, presumably in case each views the other with suspicion. Folk usually say the risk is greater to your PC with more than one running. In your shoes I'd pick one and remove the other.
Just run the tool .. it will do no harm to anything else .. just remove the MS entries in registry and left over files.
