Blackberry torch phone

I have a blackberry torch, had it for a while, the battery still had some usage left and it just switched off with a message that battery was dead?? anyone else have this problem with the phone

ive always found blackberry batteries to be very good... they tend to warn you for ages before they run out... has the battery got wet at all?

I just got the warning beeps then it went off, it showed on the battery indicator thing that I had about 90% remaining, it didn't get wet though
