You know the the "fanciful" type of printing(handwriting) you get on invitation cards?Do you know the type of font that would give me that or something near to it? I'm working my way through the fonts with no luck so far and as there are so many I could do with a suggestion.
Thanks

Try doing a search for public comain fonts and see what is on offer. You are probably looking for some kind of 'script' font, or maybe a 'gothic' one.

Hi! Lucida isn't quite what I was looking for thanks.
Big t I only have one of your suggestions and that's not the one either so it's searching for your others or trawling through the sites given. Thanks again ps I was hoping that it was one of the fonts already on my H/drive.
There two will probably be on your hard drive already . . . .

Monotype Corsiva
or
Haettenschweiler

I have the Monotype Corsiva I was hoping to get one in "handwriting".Thanks!
If you want a handwriting type font, one of my favourites for Invitation, Birthday,Christmas cards etc is English111 Vivace BT.

Ron.
I think these 'handwriting' styles may be what you're looking for:
CommercialScrT, EnglischeSchTBold, FrancineHMKBold.

If you type the names into Google Images you can see what they look like. I can send them to you if required.
sir.prize has given a good link to handwritten type fonts, which can be seen at a glance without having to click and view each individual one.

Hi Codswallop, you can download a program called FONT LIST from the following site which will let you see how all the fonts installed on your computer will actually look when printed.

Hope this is what you are after?
