Printing to a wireless computer

I am hopeless with computers, can anyone help me by answering in layman's terms please. My computer for the last year has been set up to print on a wireless lexmark printer and it has been fine. My computer stopped working last week but has now been fixed, however the printer is not printing and the wi fi light is flashing orange. I have been told to cancel all the prints waiting then plug in the printer using the grey cable (I can't see a grey cable but there is a white one that is already connected from the computer to the printer) I heve then been told to find the installation disk if I want to set it up on wi fi again, I can't find a disk, would there be a disk ehen you buy a wireless printer?, do I need to get a replacement disk?, an d if the cable is connected why does it not work anyway, please help I am at the end of my tether.

Go to the lexmark site
http://support.lexmar...e=en&userlocale=EN_US
and download the installation program for your model printer. You may also have to enter the password for your wireless modem into the printer.
