Vista Security Virus...how to get rid.

When I open my computer I get about 3 boxes pop up with Vista Security 2011. I have Googled and realise this is a scam. I have MacAfee security and that says all is secure. Any idea how to get rid of it for free.Many thanks

Download and install the free version of Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware:

Simply running that program may well fix the problem straight away. If not, restart your computer and, while it's 'getting itself ready' (i.e. before the Windows screen appears), press F8. That will take you into Safe Mode. Your screen will look very odd (because your computer's video driver driver won't have loaded) but you'll still be able to have another go at running Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware, which should then do the job for you. (Simply restarting your computer again will get you out of Safe Mode, and back to normal).
