If anyone can help me please i have a acer aspire 9394wsmi laptop and it has suddenly gone off and when i turn it one nothing happens I wondered if anyone else has had this problem and what if anything will get it started again. Thanks

how do you know you are turning it on if nothing happens?

(that is a serious question BTW, what exactly happens when you hit the power button?)

Does this happen when the laptop is on battery or connected to the mains via its charger?
If it won't switch on when connected to the mains I suspect something serious.

How old is it?
