Is there a way i can monitor okay spy on what my partner is doing?

Hey all

In a nutshell i would really like to know if there is something that records i. what my partner is doing on the laptop and 2. exactly what is being said i.e not just sites visited but also what happens and what is said once in that site?

I have heard from friends there is something called 'ghostware'???

Is this easy to install without him knowing and it is easy to get hold of?

Cheers

If it's his laptop, then what you are planning is not only morally dubious, but it's also illegal.

If there is so little trust in your relationship already then spying on his internet habits will completely destroy what little trust there is.Even in a relationship each partner is entitled to privacy. Also as rojash said, you would be breaking the law by installing any such software on someone else's computer.

lucy1manship asked a technical question, not a question concerning relationships, if he wantet that he would have gone to Clair Rainor !
Yes there are programs called "key Loggers" which keeps a record of every key pressed. see here- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keystroke_logging
what you do with the info, is up to you !

Thank you very flipping much buckoneton your so on the button.

If i wanted relationship advice id of asked for it.

For the record the computer is my property and my actions are as a result of the root of all evil that is facebook. my partner has been having a facebook affair....for the sake of our children and in an attempt to try and regain what trust we have left we have BOTH agreed to install this to prove there is not dodgy activity going on!!!
