LimeWire

Hi

Following recently upgrading my version of LimeWire to version 4.18.3, I'm having difficulty connecting to file share .... the little red bars on the bottom left of the screen constantly remain at red when they should change to green ....

I haven't changed my firewall settings, I've tried uninstalling the software and reinstalling it, I've tried LimeWire's help pages and updated my Java Runtime Environment as was suggested but still nothing .... wish I hadn't updated as I had no problems with the previous version which I can't go back to and System Restore doesn't take it back either ....

I'm using Norton Anti-Virus and Norton Personal Firewall ....

Has anyone else encountered this or can anyone make any suggestions (except for stop file sharing !)

i've had this problem and it works for me if once the limewire page comes up if you click on file at the top left and click disconnect. then click on file again and click connect. seems to work for me, hope it does for you
