Whois database

How can http://www.unwantedvouchers.co.uk and http://mestono.co.uk get away with opting out of the whois database when they trade and offer services they are registered to a very well to do chap called Dominic Keen, some interesting reading here about his life http://www.linkedin.com/in/dominickeen All I wanted to do was check the validity of the site before sending off my vouchers. HOW can I trust someone that hides behind a PO BOX number in london? What do they have to hide?
Also mestono is a limited Uk company and ebay has a user called mestono that sells vouchers
.......all too coincidental or am I paranoid!!!!!!!

.....just an addition he is selling these vouchers back into circulation via ebay as "unwanted vouchers"
that he has purchased via his website at unwantedvouchers.co.uk

there is a link on unwantedvouchers.co.uk under "about us"
to mestono, which inturn takes you to a form... very odd!!!

has anybody used the site to sell vouchers or bought vouchers with success from ebay?

the rules controlling the information contained for the .co.uk whois lookups are not as strict as those for a .com lookups, however it's worth remembering that even though a person my be trading using a .co.uk domain there is always a good chance they will have registered the .com version as well to stop others using it (in this case they have, go check the lookup for unwantedvouchers.com :))

As for is it suspicious, well I have a simple rule for internet trading... even the smallest bit of doubt... walk away.

as for unwantedvouchers.com it links direct to the .co.uk
DNS servers ... very good idea to keep costs down.
Found the address I was looking for (thanks again)
never thought of the .com (DOH is me)
