I want to get rid of incorrect user names and e-mail addresses, which appear in the autocomplete menus, due to clumsy typing etc.

What browser are you using? Generally, you'll find what you're looking for by going into the browser preferences or settings and manually editing/deleting the unwanted entries - but it's difficult to be precise without knowing more about your set-up.

I've looked everywhere that I can think of, but the only changes I'm able to make are with regard to the actual computer; ie password etc...I don't want to go there.
I'm using Internet Explorer, so if you have any ideas on how to delete information, I'd be delighted to hear it.

when the incorrect names come up use the down arrow to highlight the one you want to delete and hit the delete key and away it goes

ChuckFickens...you'rer genius!
I couldn't see how it could be a difficult thing, which is what perplexed me, so much. I'd scoured the registry looking for the mispelled name, to no avail.
I'd tried deleting it in every way but hitting the delete button. Actually, I don't remember ever using it before; I usually right click and hit delete.
Thanks again.

I have observed ChuckFickens answers on computer problems and he does sound to be a genius, could do with some lessons myself, still trying to find my way round this time wasting machine.

Dear me...it wasn't my intention to set up a ChuckFickens fan club, but it looks like that's what I'm done.
If you're embarrassed (Lord Fickens) by the accolades that you're getting from your fans, it serves you right for being so clever!
Oh, I do like you people - you brighten my days. Keep it up!
