Obsessed

Hi am new to this and was scanning sites for a bit of advice


I am mid 20s male and i am very happy in a long term relationship, we have bought a house together and things are great

However there a girl at work i am constantly thinking about and im worried its developing into a bit of an obsession, we get on well in work but dont see each other outside of work, we are facebook friends and i keep having to resist sending her a facebook message, she has shown no interest in me in a relationship sense but i just keep thinking about her wondering what she is doing etc and i find myself checking facebook to see when she was last on it etc

i realise i am sounding a bit like a love struck teenager but it is getting somewhat worrying now that i will do something i regret by contacting her
and affecting my relationship with my girlfriend who i do love very much

any advice would be welcome

Only you can make the choice and decide whether your relationship is really what you want for the future or do you want the chance to try fresh relationships.

the short answer is: don't do it (you know that already). In the normal run of things chatting on Facebook is no big deal; in your case it sounds as if it would be a mistake.

Have you asked yourself exactly what it is about her that fascinates you? Does she offer something your girlfriend hasn't got?

We have all done something that we regret.......it is called "life" to which there is no biological answer to (unless you are woofgang or DaisyNonna).
