Ios 10 Update

Having updated my iphone6 to the latest ios 10
Loads of new 'stuff'. I like the photographic animated pictures you can insert to Messages (not FB) just regular text messages or iMessages. I don't mean Emojis cos I don't use the emoji keyboard too costly as they are charged as a picture message for me at a rate of 35p each
But. Does anyone whose updated their phone to the latest know whether these particular moving photographic inserts are chargeable?
