I have signed up to Adobe acrobat and use it occasionally to send documents etc. I also pay around £10 a month to Adobe. Is the programme permanently wired in to my computer or would it disappear if I stopped paying?

I'm curious as to why it costs £10 per month??
I'm sure that the basic adobe reader is free and you can send your documents via email, so what do you get extra for the £10??
Soz if this sounds like a daft question, but I'm not getting it .....
Conversion to .pdf ?
//// Conversion to .pdf ? ////

If that's all, then I'm still not getting it, as there are decent free converters out there .....
I am also unable to understand why you have signed up for what I assume is a version of Adobe Acrobat Pro. Perhaps you will kindly tell us.

Anyway the direct answer to your question is that that subscription Adobe is fixed into your computer and is usable without being connected to the internet. However, I believe it is necessary to go 'on-line' once every 30days to continue doing so. If then you are Not up-to-date with your monthly/yearly payments, your licence will be terminated and the Adobe in your computer will be rendered inactive.
