Could anyone tell me how I can access stored passwords on Internet Explorer 11 for web-sites that I have visited that need a user-name and password, I believe there is a way by using the tools tab.

For Win 8.1 (I'm assuming it'll be the same for other versions of Windows):

Control panel >>> user accounts

On the left hand side, click on "manage your credentials"

Under "web credentials" will be a list of all the websites with the stored passwords. Click on the drop down arrow to the right of the website in question and next to password, click "show". You may be prompted to enter your PC's password, in order to proceed .....
If it's not Windows 8/8.1:
Go to Tools > Internet Options
Click the Content tab
Under AutoComplete, click Settings
Click Manage Passwords
