I use IE9 and I'm trying to download IE11 but I get a pop up screen saying "IE can't continue because a more recent version is installed on your computer". How can version 9 be more recent than version 11, what am I missing here, please help.

Are you trying to download IE 11 to Windows Vista.? If so you will Not be able to because you need Windows 7.

Please say what Windows is your Operating System.

If you are using Windows Vista then you must use IE10 as your default browser check your version by going to the Tools section and open it and left click on IE and it will tell you what version you have.
