Trouble With My Mobile

My old Nokia has sprouted a problem with text messages.... Receiving them ok but when I try to send one, the arrow showing the progress stays on the screen and the message stays in the outbox....all attempts to send it fails ...any ideas what I've pressed by accident or how I fix it would be greatly appreciated

Try taking out the sim card and cleaning the contacts.

Hmmm think that would be way beyond my capabilities but thank you Hopkirk, I'll see if I can find someone who knows more than I do.

Take the battery out for a couple of minutes - usually works for most mobile misbehaviours.

When something similar happened to me with my old Nokia I'd accidently adjusted the message service number. Phone your provider if the other two suggestions don't work.
