Last time I bothered firing up lap-top, I paid £3/4 for days use. Half hour radio show + half hour TV programme later it went off. "You have used avilable data". At least Dick Turpin wore a mask.
How much did you pay for month?
My phone's £5 pm unlimited usage. Might be ok for your purposes.
It could be the 'on-line gaming' which is pushing-up your monthly user allowance. I only have 10GB and, with considerable surfing activities and daily very active in AB, never get anywhere near my monthly allowance.

Nevertheless, it might be worth having a word with BT, whom I have always found very helpful.

Ron.
Yeah, that sounds right. Had same issue here in Ireland. Really big shoot up m bills for excess usage after started to use an iPad. So upped to unlimited/domestic. Shop around for that.....
im on comp for at least 10 hrs a day doing all you do but NOT on-line gaming and i find 10 gb adequate contact your isp provider they should be able to tell you where its going
I too use my pc for many hours a day, every day - and I do online gaming. I use around 5gb a month, sometimes 6gb.
