I-fone connectivity

I have an i-fone and it really struggles to connect to anything
I'm sat 4 feet from my new sky modem and it says "no service"
I'm still running I.O.S.4 could this affect it? I've tried switching the wi-fi off and on again. No difference. I don't think its the modem as the fone was like this with the old one

Have you added the new wifi settings/password to your phone? Got to say my phone is being pretty rubbish this week too - I haven't updated IOS yet either and it seems to be slowing everything down. It's all part of the plan to make us update!
