It seems if you link to an amazon product, AB truncates your answer!
You plug the smaller one into the mains adjacent to you router and connecte to the router with an ethernet cable. The larger one is a wireless repeater: you plug it in in any other room in the house to provide wifi coverage for the room. I can endorse the above. I use a Netgear Homeplug kit. I am also in Spain and it is available over here with the schuko plug about €150

Hmm, that works out considerably dearer than buying a UK one and plugging it into a converter.

Absolutely, as I found out afterwards. It was purchased in a hurry to satisfy the needs of a guest in a distant part of the house. As a generality most things electrical or electronic are more expensive here. Amazon gets used a lot over here |
