No phone or broadband

Since yesterday afternoon I have no landline or broadband - I'm with Talk Talk but apparently there are 12 exchanges in East Anglia that are affected with total loss of voice and date service. Its priority 1 but no idea of when it will be back. I know there's nowt I can do just wanted to have a moan! Don't suppose I will get any compensation?

Compensation for what? Will it leave you out of pocket?
Question Author
I am paying for a service I am not getting! I am having to pay to access the internet and make phone calls from my mobile - so why shouldn't I get a refund?
Failing to provide a service that has been paid for would be classed as being out of pocket.

And we're back in the room......
This may be BT's problem but Talk Talk is a god-awful company to have anything to do with. They have no input whatsoever into providing you with service, apart from taking your money. They haven't laid a single yard of cable, nor built any telephone exchanges. Is it really so much cheaper being a Talk Talk customer ?
