closing a Facebook account

I recently submitted a photograph to my local TV Station and was advised (by them) to go via facebook. I logged in and sent the photo and now find that I have a Facebook account giving my business and university details. As I do not use Facebook (nor intend to do so) could someone help me in removing this account from the internet. Thank You

if you "logged into" facebook, you must have already had an account!

Like bednobs says, you must have an account. Those details HAVE to be filled in.

You must have filled in the items - they're not going to waste time scouring round other sites to fill in info on your site, not with the millions of users they have (are they?).
