AnswerBank disappearance

If, in the middle of writing a post for AB, I look for a reference, say an online dictionary, or the source of a fact on Internet Explorer, whatever I have already written disappears and I am unable to return to it, my text being lost forever. This would not happen if I was writing, for example, an email. Is this a fault within AB's construction or can this very annoying problem be avoided?

No - I am using an ordinary desk top computer, but must admit that at the moment I have a dongle attached to it because I am in the process of moving and have not got proper connection. It seems to work all right, but it might be that which is making it difficult. Not moving into my permanent residence for a few more weeks, unfortunately, because some work has to be done there, so perhaps I should wait until I have moved in and then come back and ask again.

that's your internet provider not your browser. when you connect to the internet how do you do that?
