EDDO (livebox)

My internet (EDDO livebox on a BT line) has been very good for a number of years, but now cuts out upto 20 times a day. Its uncanny that Orange has phoned me up recently to see if i want to upgrade my contract. Has anyone else had similar issues or heard of someone that has ?
