Why cant I open this URL obtained from Magazine ?

Thanks for the info ChuckFickens, but I am realy not much wizer. Why have information such as this URL, if it does not open the program that it's alluding to? The reason I am asking is that I see these 'snipca.com/0000 in computer magazines and I have tried to open the program just to view its usefulness, and gave it up as a bad job. The address you give could I assume open/download lots of Apps/prgrms but not much info about them.
